DripCost is a simple tool with one job: to make the true, long-term cost of recurring spending impossible to ignore.
Individually, a subscription or a daily habit feels trivial. Stacked up and projected over years, with inflation and the opportunity cost of investing instead, the numbers tell a very different story. We surface that number so you can make an informed choice.
How it works
Every cost you enter is converted to an annual figure and projected over 1, 5, 10 and 20 years. You control the assumptions: the inflation rate applied to future prices, and the return rate used when the cancel-vs-invest view shows what the same money could grow into. The calculators run in your browser, and the figures are illustrative estimates to help you think, not financial advice.
Where the data comes from
We maintain a small catalogue of popular subscriptions and everyday habits with their typical prices. Each service page shows when its prices were last verified, and includes a step-by-step guide to cancelling the service, with a link to the provider's own account page. Prices and cancellation flows change, so treat both as a starting point and confirm with the provider.
Independence
DripCost is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the services it tracks. Nothing in the catalogue is ranked or featured in exchange for payment, and no provider can pay to change the numbers.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use. To cover its costs it may display clearly labelled advertising. Ads never influence the calculations, the catalogue, or the cancellation guides, and our privacy policy explains exactly what advertising means for your data.
